On December 30, 2013, I purchased the domain name youngpreachersofamerica.com with a vision to build a website that would be used to encourage the next generation of preachers. On June 1, 2014, we officially launched Young Preachers of America as a ministry of Lincoln Baptist Church. In the nearly 18-month lifespan of this site, we have made several advances and gained many frequent readers some of which were not even Baptist.

When I was a teenager, there was a young adult man in our church who at one time was the golden gloves boxing champion for the Hawaiian Islands. Not only was he a good boxer, but he also held a black belt in martial arts. As a teenage young man, it was not difficult to want to be around him for in my eyes he epitomized a manly man.
One day he offered to give me and a friend of mine some boxing and martial arts lessons if we were interested. Well, of course we were interested!

Did our Lord Jesus Christ come into the world to make men moral, or did He come into the world to do more than make us moral? In this message we shall answer that question according to the Word of God.
Peter speaks to us in these inspired words: "For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit" (I Pet. 3 :18) .
Inspired of God, Paul penned down these words: "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the Gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures" (I Corinthians 15 :1-4).
"For He hath made Him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him" (Il Corinthians 5:21).
"Wherefore when He cometh into the world, He saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me" ( Heb. 10: 5) .
". . . Without shedding of blood is no remission" (Heb. 9 :22). In John 3:36 we read, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."
Again I ask, Did our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ come into the world, suffer as He suffered, endure the torture and shame of the cross, just to make men moral? Or did He come to do more than that?
“Give me 100 preachers who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God; such alone will shake the gates of hell.” -John Wesley
